About Jocose Resources

Hi, I’m Heather the founder of Jocose Resources—a proud mum of four boys and an early childhood educator with over 8.5 years of experience in the industry. Living on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, I’m constantly inspired by the natural world, play, and the joy of childhood.

Jocose Resources was created after I recognised a gap in the resources available to early childhood centres. I wanted to offer something different—products that truly support learning through play, spark imagination, and feel purposeful in everyday environments.

I design and source each resource with intention, drawing on my hands-on experience working with children. Wherever possible, my products are made locally, and I’m proud to say that everything is Australian made.

The name Jocose means playful—which perfectly reflects my passion for making learning fun, engaging, and meaningful. It also holds a special place in my heart, as it represents the first letter of each of my children’s names.
